Tweet of the Day: Goldfinch: A rear visitor to our "shrine" of hanging bird feeders…I think it is to do with the seed we feed our feeders they don't like it....but still visit to keep us happy.
Meow of the Day : Home before Sunrise : After a good night out on the tiles you need to get home by Sunrise and before your humans go to work ( for your food money ) They get really touchy if you are not there at first light waiting for them to give you your food…shivering is a good thing to add to your demeanour...don't let them think you are having more FUN than them!...it's a catcrecret
Meow of the Day: Howling at the moon : On a night out on the tiles one needs a strategy to find a partner..showing off is one way,,,strutting along the roof tiles…but if you want to go for the more intellectual types...try howling at the moon...at least you'll get the ones interested in Luna activity for a start and go on from there.......
Meow of the Day : Corners : Don't you just hate them…you never know if something is going to jump out at you....so treat corners with great respect..of you lean out enough you can get an idea if there is anyone there waiting...but you have to lean out a long way.....but don't fall off the wall...so undignified .

Meow of the Day : After Lunch Nap : After playing all morning it's nice to have a relaxing meal followed by a nap afterwards…but if you play too hard to and get too tired then you have a problem finding enough energy to get out of the bowl and finding a favourite place to nap...this little chap played too hard and decided to have a nap where he was.....handy for the next meal.
Tweet of the Day: Great Tit ...this is one of my favourites ...mainly interested in nuts ...diving in and out as fast as possible...really fast food...We have a nest box above the kitchen but only used once years ago...I think it must be the smell form our kitchen that put them off...Hope my wife doesn't read this.....
Tweet of the Day: Long Tailed Tit....A lot of these about this morning, mostly on the nuts….they're nuts about the nuts ....they get up early to get to them before the squirrels do....they wait for a squirrel to fall off the feeder and nip in for a hearty breakfast before he has time to climb the tree again....really fast food outlet ..

Tweet of the Day : Very Red Bunting : I don't think Buntings are really this red...but it looked so good against the snow...I left it as it was…I also don't know how all this snow came to be here in Mid Spring...art is certainly weird at times.. anyway todays "Tweet 0f the Day" is the Red Bunting sometimes seen on our feeding tree ...wonderful to see the flash of red in all the green of the trees with all this snow I was going to say Winter isn't far away....but it is....looking forward to Summer first ...

Doggie of the Day ; Buddy; This is Buddy … y son's dog ...a faithful sitter while he paints...but when the light is fading soon tells him that it's getting too dark to paint and it will ruin your eyes so lets go for a long walk....and have something to eat.
Doggie of the Day : Bow Wowie : Max , David Bowie's last dog..they say that dogs grow to resemble their Owners or is it the other way around... Max has one brown eye and one blue eye and so did David Bowie...this was due to a punch in the eye from a jealous friend..I don't know how David got his or is it the other way around?
Meow of the Day : Grumpy cat cracks a smile : Trying to make this cat smile is impossible maybe they weren't meant to smile...come to think about it no cat likes to be seen smiling...do they? something about 'loosing face'….who knows?
Meow of the Day : My Favourite Place : As soon as "they" get up I'm on the bed and snuggling down for the day...it's still warm...and now, so am I....I don't have to move till tonight when "they " return from their jobs making money to pay for my food…what a great arrangement!

Meow of the Day : Trees are for the Birds : I can't stand it any more...spending the day trying to keep balanced on a branch...long enough to get some sleep...It's madness....it is so much easier to sleep on the floor...there is much more of it and you don't keep falling off the edge....I've had it with these trees they are for the birds!!
