Meow of the Day ; Double Trouble : Here's a couple of trouble makers … just looking at them, you know trouble is just around the corner...what are they planning?...whatever it is you want to be as far away as possible or you know you will be involved....or blamed for whatever mischief is evolving........get away.while you can.......hide in some flowers till it is all over.........

Ginger Romance

Meow of the Day : Ginger Romance : It must be the smell of these flowers...whenever I am in the flowers something happens to me....I get funny all over….tingling, I think they call it....not unpleasant but funny tingly ....then I found him....doing and feeling exactly the same...what is it with these flowers....or is it because it's Spring?....something is happening.......

What's Muesli?

Meow of the Day : What's muesli? : What IS muesli ?? it looks good enough to eat and then when you try it..it's nothing like what you expect...I suppose you're supposed to eat it ...it's in my dish...the baby of the family doesn't seem to be too happy either....what on earth is he eating ? he's not a happy pussy this morning...Oh here we go!! it's disappeared and what a surprise here is my food...looks like someone in the family isn't concentrating this morning...

What's a Vet?

Meow of the Day : What's a Vet? : I'm not a well pussy cat...I feel funny....I walk funny...and it's not funny..and worse than that I'm off my food....but not all is bad...."they" have mentioned something called a vet...this sound like a new cat food....CATVET can't wait to try it...so I'll just sit here till it comes…I'll let you know what it's like......................

Leaning Love

Meow of the Day : Leaning Love : Oh, no, a cat is touching me...oh! no! now she is leaning on me...I'm not mean enough to jump aside....so I'll stay here propping up my new friend...but what next? how long do I have to keep supporting my friend…?....as long as I live?? ...this is beginning to looks like marriage !.....it's getting better we are leaning on each other now.....

Car of the Day : Car : Thought I 'd have a go at painting something different today..it's a car
the smallest car in the world!....it's a Peel P50 and sold recently at Sotheby's in the US for £122,700....Built on the Isle of Man in1964 and is 52 inches Long…I'd love to get in one and have a drive but not so sure that I could get out......

You're Cute

Meow of the Day : You're Cute : Funny old life ain't it...you meet lots of cats every day....and then ...one day you meet some cat who really cute....might be your sole mate ...you never can tell....There's a lot of ground work to be done first…......but it'd going to be fun trying...yum yum

My Chair

Meow of the Day : My Chair! : There seems to be some misunderstanding about who's chair this is..the human here thinks it is his and keeps lifting me out of it and sitting in it.. but I keep climbing back in to it to show him who's it is....are they stupid or what? Meow of the Day : How did that happen? : Just having a nap in the garden and wake up to find a bird has built a nest i my curled tail…what a cheek...how long have I been sleeping...it was supposed to be a sort nap.....not the whole of Spring!

Poppy Twins

Meow of the Day : Poppy Twins : We alway do everything together eat, sleep, and have fun…and that is what we are doing here..our humans can't find us and are getting really stressed..so we are going to stay here till they think we are lost or stolen....and then appear...and we will be welcomed back and not told off.....no fools we twins....cat twins too....going to be spoilt rotten...

Tweet of the Day : Barn Owl : I know another Barn Owl...but I find them endlessly fascinating to look good from every angle and particularly at night when the light of there moon catches them…With heart-shaped face, buff back and wings and pure white underparts, the barn owl is a distinctive and much-loved countryside bird.

Meow of the Day : Hide and Seek : These two cats met in the flower bed…both trying to find a hiding place to get away from the stresses of life...the fact that they found the same place at the same time might be the start of something romantic....watch this space....

Van Gogh's Cats

Meow of the Day : Van Gogh's Cats : That looks like Van Gogh's chair so it must be Van Gogh's cats…they are giving you the look all cats do when they found out getting up to mischief ..you suddenly go into a room and there they are in mid movement frozen...you have no idea what they were up to...but you know it is mischief ....little darlings....

Bolthole

Meow of the Day : Bolthole : Everyone needs a bolt hole ...somewhere where you can be on your own for a while...with nobody bothering you ...just to think things through....get your life in order...sort out your head...and whats going on in there…I think I'll spend the whole day here...getting away from life for a bit.....

Cat Yoga

Meow of the Day : Cat Yoga : Nothing quite like yoga to start your day…a good stretch every morning can set you up for the day and help balance your chi...taking deep breathes...remember in through the nose and out through the mouth........unless it's having an extra half hour in bed...of course !!

Playtime

Meow of the Day : Playtime : Life is getting too serious and mundane..eat…sleep…sit around the my house ...more eating ...more sleeping...and more laying about in my house......sometimes at night I might go out and try having some fun....chasing other cats...too confrontal...so I'll pick on something smaller than me...that I can handle.....a bug!....bug chasing is the game for me!

Mandarin Duck

Tweet of the Day : Gently Forward : The Mandarin Duck: Had to stretch the paint box a bit to do this one, so much colour.. and with a reflection too..... but well worth the effort I think...The mandarin duck, or just mandarin, is a perching duck species found in East Asia. It is medium-sized. As the other member of the genus Aix, it is closely related to the North American wood duck.

also good as a reminder of your health and how you should be looking after yourself.
This was painted for a group of artists I was teaching…It was a very good project.
