Ashes Three

Landscape of the Day : Ashes Three : Having a break from the pussys for a day or two...I have seen some beautiful landscapes lately and have noted them down in my sketch book and not painted them...it was as if they were shouting at me every time I opened my book...PAINT US! the landscapes are getting as bad as the cats...shouting from my sketch book..wait a minute drawings don't shout...…I think I'll just have a lie down in a dark room till it all goes away.....

He's a Natural

Meow of the Day : He's a Natural : I'm teaching my kitten to swim....I don't want him to fall into some garden pond and drown so I'm trying to prevent that...My water dish is an ideal training pool...he can already swim a length …I'm so proud

I Don't Like Bones

Meow of the Day : I Don't Like Bones : I liked the fish....but there wasn't much of it. it was mostly bones....I don't like Bones…..even though they smelt of fish they were still bones.....and I DON"T LIKE BONES,,,,is anyone listening out there......they tickle as they go down but they don't make me laugh....no laughing matter..........

There is no food in this dish

Meow of the Day : There is no food in the food dish! : This is a FOOD dish and there is no FOOD in it. That is why this dish was made...some potter made this dish for food to be put in it.....why is there no FOOD in it???? THIS DISH NEEDS FOOD TO BE PUT IN IT! what is so hard to under stand??.....you humans.....PUT FOOD IN THIS DISH!!!!…...

Meow of the Day : Here he is...: Our kitten lost and now found again...panics over...for the moment...It's a full time job looking after a lively young kitten...you have to keep your eye on them the whole time...somethings from our old life will have to be given up...night on the tiles for a start..maybe the catnip....I may have to give up my regular job !!

Meow of the Day : Have you seen our Kitten? : Having a new kitten is great fun and many proud parents love them…but after the first thrills...there comes a time when the responsibilities have to be shared out...who does what and when?...who is supposed to be keeping an eye out for the new kitten?..................?

Our First Kitten

Meow of the Day : Our First Kitten : So proud…we've been trying for months with no luck...we were just about to adopt ...we suddenly one weekend it all happened...life's like that they tell me trying for months you go away for one weekend and suddenly there it was our new kitten...it may well have been the catnip who knows......who cares....we have a a brand new kitten..wow!

Painting of the Day : Clifftop Home : Another mountain painting and another cliff …dangerous place to live I would think, but great to look at and paint...painting rocks and cliffs are difficult​ I have just suggested what they would look like here rather than a studied observed painting....will try to do better next time...

Dat Funny

Meow of the Day : Dat Funny : " I haven't heard that one before...." These two cats are telling each other jokes​...I wonder what sort of jokes they would be?...it might be jokes about dogs? their humans ? the food that was given to them that day?....what would they be about ?? It is starting to interest me now….what unearth do cats laugh about?????????

Vincent's New Cat

Meow of the Day : Vincent's New Cat : I know Vincent Van Gogh must have had a cat...and here he is....climbing on his masters chair...probably while he was trying to painting a masterpiece of it....Our cats used to do that…playing with the paint brush as we were trying to work...ho hum good fun but one has to get work done and out there ...and cats don't care about that ....not when there is FUN to be had.....

Blossom

Painting of the Day : Blossom : There was a dip in the countryside all in shadow … ull of trees in full blossom..the sun was just hitting the tops of the trees making the blossom shine...wonderful.

Landscape of the Day : The End of the Day : After a good day fishing here we are getting back to the jetty we left about six hours ago…..quietly fishing......talking sometimes ...but mostly just sitting and enjoying the gentle passing of time in the sunshine....there was a beer or three too.....the end of a perfect day.....did we catch any fish.....?.......can't remember.....

Max

Bark of the Day : Max : Max is trouble! he is a standard wire-haired dachshund….you'll need lots of insurance cover for this doggy...this six year old has eaten poison, drunk a bottle of bleach and other escapes to roam around the busy streets of the town where amazingly he is still living....
